This week saw Rhys taking part in a feedback report to HRH Prince of Wales, on the 29th June at Portmeirion in North Wales. The key aspect of the report was the ongoing topic of Education and the STEM agenda (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and how business, schools and Education authorities can work closer to shape the future workforce. Rhys has continued his work in the volunteering sector since leaving the Bank, and highlighted the importance of local businesses working with their local schools to add significant value to not only the pupils and teachers but shaping our future employees.
Rhys is keen to publicise the importance Business in the Community as an organisation and the clarity of their support that they can provide to your company and how you can work to make an impact on key aspects in your neighbourhood. “It is such a rewarding and satisfying experience once you engage and clarify what support is required; it adds so much motivation to yourself and your workforce, that it is a big win for everyone involved.” If you have any questions as what we have undertaken or how you could become involved within your own company, please contact Rhys directly and he will be extremely please to run through his experience and contacts with you.
